Plenty of progress since our first walkthrough of this barn conversion. The old walls have come down, the new drainage is in and concrete has now been poured into the footings. This project is particularly close to home for us, as it’s Matt’s grandfather’s property. Following a fire that started in the garage, both fire and smoke damage have affected several areas of the house. There’s a substantial amount of work ahead, including asbestos removal, a full strip-out, rewiring and the complete reinstatement of the affected rooms. The Final Episode: Part Two 🎬 And just like that… Green End is complete 👏🏼 (outside to come) We’re finishing the walk through with the utility, bedrooms and bathrooms before heading back outside for one final look at the finished home. From the early strip out and major layout changes to the extension, full refurbishment and all those finishing details, this has been a huge transformation and seeing the homeowners back in and enjoying it makes it all worthwhile.
